Stuck? We’ll help you find your way.
A quick tour of how Kith works, answers to the questions we hear most, and a real human you can email when nothing else helps.
What you can do in a Kith space
Start your first moment
Pick what you’re sharing — a baby, a wedding, a trip — name it, and you’re in. No app store, no setup forms.
Invite your people
Share the invite link by text. Guests sign in with their phone number — that’s the whole sign-up.
Chat in real time
Send updates, photos, voice notes, and reactions. Everyone in the space sees them as they happen.
Build the album
Upload photos straight from your camera roll. Captions are optional. Hosts can let guests post or keep it private.
Collect wishes
A separate space just for heartfelt notes — congratulations, encouragement, memories. Hosts can pin favorites.
Coordinate help
Guests sign up for meals, rides, errands, or anything you need. No more text-chains about who’s bringing what.
Frequently asked
Do my guests need to download an app?
No. Kith runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets, and computers. They open the invite link, sign in with their phone number, and they’re in. They can add Kith to their home screen if they want, but it’s never required.
How private is my space?
Every space is invite-only. Only people you invite can see what’s shared. There are no public profiles, no algorithms, no advertising, and no one outside your space can find or read it.
How do I invite someone?
Open your space, tap Invite, and share the link by text or your normal share sheet. New guests sign in with their phone number, then land directly in your space.
Can I control what guests can post?
Yes. In Settings, hosts can decide whether guests can send messages, upload photos, or sign up to help. You can change those toggles anytime.
Can I remove a message or photo?
Anyone can delete their own messages within 15 minutes. Hosts and admins can remove any message, photo, or wish in their space at any time.
What happens after the event?
Nothing — your space stays. If you set an event date, the space gently archives 30 days later: it becomes read-only, but every photo, message, and wish stays exactly where you left it. Hosts can reactivate or download memories anytime.
Is Kith free?
Starting a moment is free. You can invite up to 100 people and use all the core features without paying. Larger spaces, extra storage, and AI features come with the Pro and Premium plans.
I forgot the phone number on my account.
Sign in with the same phone number you used to create your account. If that number is no longer yours, email support@startakith.com from the email tied to your account and we’ll help recover it.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, anytime. Open Profile → Delete account. Your messages stay in any spaces you participated in (so the conversation makes sense for everyone else), but your name and avatar are removed. If you own a space, you’ll need to transfer or delete it first.
If something feels off
I’m not getting the verification code.
Codes can take up to a minute. Make sure your number includes the country code, then tap Resend. If it still doesn’t arrive, try again from Wi-Fi, or email us — we can issue a manual code.
A photo won’t upload.
Most upload issues are spotty connections. Try again on Wi-Fi. If it’s a very large video, trim it in your phone’s camera app first. Single photos can be up to 10 MB; videos up to 50 MB.
The chat feels out of sync.
Pull down to refresh, or close the tab and re-open the space. Kith reconnects automatically when you come back online — pending messages will send themselves.
My invite link isn’t working.
Invite links expire if the host regenerates them, or after 30 days of no use. Ask the host to send you a fresh link from their space settings.
Your space, your rules.
Kith spaces are invite-only and private by default. We don’t show ads, sell your data, or use your photos to train anything. For the full story, see our Privacy Policy and Terms. To report something unsafe, email safety@startakith.com.
Settings live in the gear icon.
Open your space and tap the gear in the top-right. From there you can rename the space, change permissions, manage members, regenerate invite links, set the event date, pick a theme color, and download your memories. Only owners and admins can see the settings panel.
We read every message.
No phone tree, no chat bot — a real person, usually within a day or two.
